Michelle Brown is a multi-talented professional female voiceover artist with a passion for broadcasting and a zest for life. Having grown up in Kingston, Jamaica, Michelle is a natural storyteller with an authentic, intelligent, and friendly tone. With nearly two decades of experience in broadcast journalism, Michelle is a two-time Emmy award winner for her work in on-air television news.

For Michelle, voiceover is a natural progression from her work as a news reporter. Her go-getter attitude has allowed her to transition into voiceover with confidence and ease. She has studied with Joan Baker (SOVAS), Dave Walsh, Rolonda Watts, Kalmenson & Kalmenson, Real Voice LA, and Anna Garduno. Training with a wide range of experts has given her a well-rounded education in the voiceover world.

Michelle loves reading and sports and has a true sense of adventure. Additionally, she focuses a great deal of her time and energy on giving back and making a difference in the world around her. She has supported non-profit organizations including Care, World Central Kitchen, and Camfed. Michelle believes in the power and impact of each person on those around them. She is in the process of launching her own communications and media company, which will focus on supporting women in business.

One of Michelle’s best assets is that she is able to work both on-camera and behind the microphone. This makes her an excellent candidate for voiceover genres that might also utilize on-camera performances. She is also an experienced writer and editor, and she is interested in collaborating with clients on new and exciting projects.
